Domplatz und Kirche
The Cathedral Square, together with the ensemble of Erfurt Cathedral (St. Mary's) and St. Severi Church, forms the impressive heart of Erfurt's Old Town. Covering an area of approximately 3.5 hectares, Erfurt Cathedral Square is one of the largest market squares in Germany. It significantly shapes the cityscape and has served as a vibrant meeting place for centuries. It is a historic marketplace and event venue.

Fischmarkt
The Fish Market is one of the most central and architecturally impressive squares in Erfurt's old town. It connects Cathedral Square with the Merchants' Bridge and is considered the secular and social heart of the city. The square owes its name to the medieval fish trade that took place here.
